JOB POSTING
PER DIEM RESIDENTIAL CHILD CARE WORKERS/YOUTH
COACHES to work at home for pregnant & parenting teen girls or at transitional
living program for parenting & non-parenting young women. Successful candidates will be responsible
for safe, consistent focused behavior management of pregnant, parenting or
non-parenting teen girls through supervision and assistance with daily
activities. We need team players who
are responsible and who can lead by example. Must be able to available to work flexible
hours including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays on a per
diem/on call basis. Requires a High School Diploma or GED
(Associates degree preferred), and at least 2 years experience with female
teens. Ability and desire to work with youth who
may be parenting and their families; Sensitivity to youth related issues;
PC literacy is helpful. Strong written and oral communication
skills; Mandated Reporter Training; Crisis Management including
de-escalation Behavioral Intervention Techniques; DCF Medicine Administration
Certification; Adult, child and infant CPR and First Aid Certification; a
valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable
transportation. Bi-lingual
English/Spanish is helpful.
Familiarity with the greater Bridgeport area a plus. Interested candidates should send their
